Why I decided to start Blogging March 13th 20222 min read
hello

You don’t have anything to say, the things you could write about had already been written by experts, that’s what I have been telling myself for a long period of time.

It all began when I was working at Obytes, where Blogging contests were held and open source was very welcomed. it was at this moment I knew that this is what I want to do, share knowledge and decipher IT abstract concepts. At the time, I didn’t start away, because I wasn’t confident, I thought I should write some Millennium Technology Prize winning essay, revolutionary, radically new and innovative blog posts.

Well I was wrong, the Beginner Feeling (which is relatively good if kept under a certain degree) always tell you that you need to be the next Brendan Eich to write a blog post. the goal is not necessarily to share expertise but to document your journey, track your progress and start interesting debates or discussions.

And these are the reasons why I decided to start a blog :

Communication: as an outgoing introvert or an Ambivert, I kept the majority of my thoughts to myself. It turns out that by expressing yourself through blogging, you will be more confident about yourself, you'll get a chance to know, discuss and understand other’s views.

Blogging allows you to tell a story. Humans are addicted to stories, its considered better than bare information. Blogging allows you to unveil the process, circumstances and difficulties that you face in your journey.

Organize Your Thoughts and Validate Expertise. Being good do not depend only on your technical skills but also on your ability to simplify composed and complex topics. Your blog can also serve as a skills portfolio.

Stand out and market yourself; Instead of waiting for recruiters to notice your resume, writing blogposts and talking about your projects will not only give you exposure, but also it’ll help you stand out from the crowd and maybe get freelance jobs.

It is 100 seconds to midnight.
